TODAY, I want to share what I learnt for today's class😆By the way, our theory class combined with lab class!!!!😆 Hehe it is because Dr. Fareed is having a Raya photoshoot💫



Overall, for lecture session, Dr. Fareed explains about our SCL 2: Brainstorming of Theories related to IS & Organization. 

These all are what we discuss in lecture session based on Diffusion of Innovations (DOI) Rogers, 2003.
  • What DOI is all about? 
  • What is Innovation?
  • Two stages of diffusion - Adoption, Implementation
  • Bandwagon Effects (U jump I jump)?
  • Adopter categories suggested by DOI?
  • Leapfrogging effects
  • Individual & Organization adoption of Innovation?
  • Importance of knowing the Hierarchy of Organization 
  • Functional areas integration (Dr. has explained in Week 2- Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Production & Operation Management and HR)

DOI?
- Diffusion of Innovation explains how new ideas, products, technologies, or innovations spread and are adopted within a society.


Innovation? 
- Something new that being introduced. 
- Any introduction of information system or any introduction of technology in foodservice (not only in terms of digitalization or internet marketing only).
- Introduction upon of IT.
Example: If one company never use website or online marketing yet, it assumes as innovation.


Stages of diffusion
- Adoption: The stage where it being introduced, the first time you encounter with the technology.
- Implementation: The stage when we start to use. 
                            - More important 
                            - If we fail in implementation stage, we will fail to use the innovation


Bandwagon Effects? ðŸ˜®
- Don't jump if someone jump and need to know why he/she jumps.
Example - If other have TikTok, you want to have it also.

Overall, for lab session, Dr. Farid assigned each of the groups to make a simple presentation about our three chosen companies and brief a little about our vision, theme, and justifications. Everyone doing Great with their presentation! Love with my company's name and also other groups! So Creative😉

Hari Raya Celebration🥰💖

  -Week 4- Hello everyone! Your Andani is here 💮💖 TODAY , I want to share my preparation for Hari Raya celebration! I am so exciting to share my experience for Hari Raya celebration this year 😆 On Friday, after online class, my mother, brother and I went to supermarket shopping for Hari Raya. We buy all the necessities needed for Hari Raya and to make frozen curry puff. On Saturday, we have a chance to make a curry puff booked by the customer and we shocked at first because the customer said she want 100 packets of curry puff which means that 1000 pieces in total. My mother said that she would do as much as she could to make curry puff to the customer and she agreed.  At the end, we manage to make 40 packets of curry puff. It is actually quite tired for me from Saturday to Tuesday because I have to manage my time to do my homeworks and prepare food for Iftar especially when my mom is working.
